 As well as producing a wide range of standard tarpaulins and covers we are able to design and manufacture customised items for a wide range of applications. Currently we have made covers for diverse applications from aircraft engine, boat and car covers to welders' screens, water bags, brewery dowser bags and fairground tilts. We pride ourselves in our ability to complement any industry and respond to its requirements. With no order either too large or too small, our technical staff are always on hand to advise on particular uses and designs that are practical and cost effective. Samples of some of our bespoke items are illustrated. Specialist Covers
A specific example of specialist covers is the type required to cover jet aircraft engines when they are removed from the aircraft for regular maintenance. These are designed for ease of use - splitting round the middle into a top and bottom half - and are therefore simple and easy to put on and remove. The two halves are joined with TIR wire and can have additional strapping attached to tighten the cover. In this particular design cut-away flaps allow the cover to fit round the engine supports, ensuring ease of use. The whole cover is made from PVC, which is strong and durable while sufficiently lightweight for easy handling. Weather damage can occur to polythene wrapped around an engine. An engine can be well protected from the elements by our custom cover, with flaps over the engine support posts, and clear identification labelling on the rear. Agility & Crash mats
Foam Filled Pads
We are also able to make foam filled pads for a variety of uses ranging from gymnastic crash mats to drop mats for steel piping. These mats are usually manufactured with a foam specially designed for the application and a cover to suit the desired needs; this can vary from the toughest canvas to the most lightweight breathable fabrics available. Disinfectant Baths
These chemical baths are suitable for all pedestrian and vehicular traffic entering into an area where infection cannot be allowed. The baths are manufactured from a 100% pvc base, which retain all the chemicals within and will not leak. The close mesh cover retains the foam filling whilst allowing tyres or shoes to compress the holding medium, thoroughly wetting the contact area. These baths are impervious to non-solvent chemicals and replacement foams can be provided if required. During the foot and mouth crisis, we were producing our bath systems round the clock, to meet the customer demand, and supplied our systems to a number of high profile customers, including Government agencies, Sporting venues and country estates.  Welders' Screens
We manufacture various types of screens for protection purposes during welding and fabrication. These screens can be made from various translucent materials, cotton canvas or a PVC fabric. All materials are flame retardant tested to BS3119/3120 /5438 (Test 2) and BS 5867 part 2. They are usually supplied with eyelets in the top and bottom hem for fixing to framework. Fork Lift Covers
Due to the problems encountered using a fork lift outside, particularly when the elements are at their worst, we manufacture a fully fitted cover to protect the driver of a fork lift whilst still giving him 100% visibility. These covers are made to be attached to the framework with flexible windows fitted and the facility for certain sections to be removed if necessary. Car Transporters Straps
Coverfast System
The "coverfast" system was introduced after numerous requests from customers for a durable, cost effective and speedy method for the secure and safe method of sheeting a tipping vehicle. Whilst there are several similar products on the market, our system has major differences.
Bodyshell Covers
We are also large manufacturers of specialist car bodyshell covers for frames that are waiting to be assembled and also protection covers for the finished car itself. Water & Kit Bags

These are only a few of the specialised products that Tony Beal Limited has had the opportunity to make, and we will always try to help solve any difficulties or problems that our customers encounter in designing a cover to suit their specific requirements. In most cases it is easier to work to a sample or to have a template as a guide - alternatively, if possible, it is preferable to have the actual product that needs to be covered, in which case it is possible to guarantee a perfect fit.
